NETWORKING
There are many different kinds of Networks as you can see in the picture there is bus networks, ring, star and wireless they all have advantages and disadvantages for example
Bus:
Advantages:
easy to set up
cheap to install as it needs so cable.
Disadvantages:
If the main cable fails or breaks the whole network will fail
Ring:
Advantages:
No data collisions
Extra computers can be added easily
Only goes one direction
Disadvantages:
If the main cable fails then the whole network will fail
To add extra computers you will need to shut down the network
Star
Advantages:
Very reliable if one cable or device fails then all the others will continue to work
Disadvantages:
Expensive to set up as this network uses the most cable
If a switch fails all the devices connected to it will have no network connection
Wireless:
Advantages:
Lack of wires
Easy to set up
Quick to set up
Disadvantages:
You can go out of range easily
They can interfere with each other that affects to connection.
Like you can see there are a lot of advantages and disadvantages for all the types of network
